The purpose of this paper is to explore and synthesize current evidence on effective nutrition strategies, parental interventions, and multidisciplinary approaches aimed at helping children with ARFID achieve better nutritional outcomes and foster a healthier relationship with food.

Causes and Characteristics of ARFID

Children diagnosed with ARFID often experience extreme food selectivity and avoidance behaviors triggered by sensory sensitivities such as aversion to the texture, smell, or appearance of certain foods.
